The Registration page of IFFK 2016 had Gender a category Third Gender which was condemned by the community as politically incorrect and demeaning.
Prominent activist Sheethal Shyam had taken up the matter with concerned authorities.
ASCENT had sent an email to the organizers, requesting them to change it.
Now the form has been modified, with "Third Gender" replaced with Transgender/Others
