Residential workshop on Writing and Content creation

The recently concluded residential workshop on Writing and Content Creation, held from 28th to 30th April 2023, provided an engaging platform for individuals passionate about communicating psychology to a broader audience. Sponsored by SPSSL, an APA division, the workshop fostered a collaborative environment for psychology graduates and students, emphasizing various mediums such as writing, videos, podcasts, and social media content. Participants engaged in lively group discussions and presentations, aiming to establish a collective vision for effectively disseminating evidence-based psychology to the public. The event not only facilitated the exploration of personal writing and content creation projects but also encouraged open dialogues on challenges encountered and collaborative strategies. Additionally, participants were introduced to the fundamentals of podcasting and video creation, equipping them with essential tools to effectively convey psychological insights. Notably, the workshop welcomed eligible attendees without any registration fee, amplifying its inclusivity and accessibility.
