18 Days Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on
Mastering Research Methods
in Behavioural Sciences
The Faculty Development Programme (FDP) Mastering Research Methods in Behavioural Sciences having a duration of 18 days jointly organised by the Department of Psychology, St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam and Association For Social Change, Evolution, and Transformation (ASCENT) was conducted online from 04-01-2022 to 16-02-2022. Each day of the FDP had two hours of sessions containing detailed lectures with discussions.
The total duration of the training was 36 hours. The FDP was facilitated by Shiju Joseph (Assistant Professor of Psychology at Government College for Women, Thiruvananthapuram), Dr. Chinchu C ( Research Associate at Women's Studies Centre, Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) ), Dr. Sameer Babu (Associate Professor, Department of Education, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), University), Dr. Anil Chandran S ( Head of the Department, Department of Demography, University of Kerala and Honorary Director of Population Research Centre, University of Kerala.), Dr. Priya K Nair (Assistant Professor at the Department of English, St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam.), Dr. Archana Arun ( Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology, University of Kerala.) and Mr. Jimson E. R. (Executive director, ASCENT).

Statistical Analysis (Jamovi and SPSS): Data transformation, Visualization, Descriptive statistics including normality testing, Inferential statistics including t-tests, ANOVA, Correlation, Regression analysis, Factor Analysis, 2 way ANOVA, Factorial ANOVA, and Non-Parametric tests.
